Los Angeles, California – Infiniti has unveiled the 2013 IPL G Convertible at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the second model in its Infiniti Performance Line.
Based on the Infiniti G37 Convertible, the IPL G Convertible uses a 3.7-litre V6 engine producing 343 horsepower, an increase of 18 horsepower over the regular model, and 273 lb-ft of torque. It is available with an electronically-controlled seven-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching and magnesium paddle shifters, and includes an IPL-tuned suspension and sport brakes.
IPL-specific exterior modifications include a unique front bumper and fascia design, sculpted side sills, chrome exhaust tips, and exclusive 19-inch split seven-spoke graphite-finish wheels with low-profile performance tires.
The new model will go on sale in the spring of 2012.
