Toronto, Ontario - Subaru unveiled its five-passenger G4e electric car concept at the Toronto auto show. The electric car features a “next-generation” lithium-ion battery developed by Subaru and can travel about 200 kilometres with one battery charge. The batteries can be charged fully in about eight hours from a home 115-volt power source, but a quick charge to 80 per cent of the batteries’ capacity is possible in just 15 minutes with a 240-volt charger , says the company.
