Audi has unveiled the latest member of the R8 sports car family, the R8 5.2 FSI. The new car is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine that makes 525 horsepower – 105 more than the 4.2-litre V8 used in the lesser R8 4.2 FSI model.

The V10 version is distinguished visually by distinct headlights, grille and air intakes, larger engine air intakes housed in the side “blades,” rear end revisions and V10 badging. The R8 5.2 FSI is available with the same six-speed manual and sequential-shift transmissions offered in the V8-powered R8.
