Wal-Mart teams compete at Third Annual National Lube Rodeo Championship
Brampton, Ontario – Canadian Wal-Mart teams will compete at Third Annual National Lube Rodeo Championship tomorrow at the Brampton, Ontario Wal-Mart. The Children’s Miracle Network Benefits from Wal-Mart and Pennzoil Donations and this year’s target is $10,000.
Each team, consisting of four people, will compete head-to-head on lube, oil-change, and other car care skills and procedures. Each team will be timed and judged on proper procedure and manner. The winning team will fly to Bentonville, Arkansas to compete against the top 17 U.S. teams at the North American Lube Rodeo Finals on September 16th.
Setting a target of $10,000 in support of the Children’s Miracle Network, all money raised at the event by Wal-Mart Canada, Pennzoil and other sponsors will be donated and used at local charities.
Other celebration activities will feature: Show cars (Black Magic Truck, Black Magic car, Corvette club, Scosche Audio Thunder vehicle); Inflatable games (for kids & Adults); Dunk tank; Charity BBQ lunch provided by Montana’s Cookhouses; Krispy Kreme – all proceeds will go to Children’s Miracle Network.
