Göteborg, Sweden – The first video footage of the all-new Volvo S60 will be released exclusively on YouTube, visible to the general public as soon as the new year begins.

“We will ensure that this is the first car video on YouTube in 2010,” said Olle Axelson, senior vice-president of public affairs. “It will be released on Volvo Car’s channel on YouTube a few seconds after we have entered the new year.”

The video was released earlier on Facebook, exclusively to fans of the site. The car itself will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.

“We want to acknowledge all the Volvo enthusiasts around the world by giving them an exclusive preview of this video on the Volvo Cars Facebook fan page,” Axelson said. “Then it will be available to everyone through Volvo Cars’ channel on YouTube right after midnight on New Year’s Eve.”

The video will be released on the YouTube channel Volvo Cars News a few seconds after midnight on January 1, 2010, Central European Time.

Members on the Volvo Cars Facebook fan page can already see the video, at Facebook.
