Irvine, California – Volvo has announced it will unveil three highly-modified C30 models at the 2006 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas in November. Built by Evolve, ipd and Heico Sportiv, the concept cars will be given a sleek makeover focusing on a variety of custom fabrications, including race-inspired engine enhancements and powerhouse audio-visual systems.

While full details are being kept quiet until the debut of the cars, Evolve will focus on cutting-edge design and motorsport technology; Heico Sportiv’s model is built for the outdoor enthusiast and partners with Vermont-based Burton Snowboards; and ipd will produce a supercharged version with almost 400 hp, a mobile electronics package conceived by Alpine and Apple, and Swedish flag-themed paint and interior.
