Volkswagen shows world premieres in China
Beijing, China – Volkswagen has presented world and local premieres at Auto China 2006, including the Neeza concept, designed in China for the domestic market.
The Neeza concept is a crossover of a coupe and station wagon; the name is derived from Ne-zha, a young boy of Chinese mythology who used magic weapons to fight evil spirits. Another world premiere was the Magotan, based on the Passat, which will be one of Volkswagen’s top-end models in China when sales begin in 2007.
Other premieres included the Tiguan SUV, Golf GTI, Eos convertible coupe, and CrossPolo.
