Wolfsburg, Germany – Volkswagen has released the first photographs of the revised Tiguan, ahead of the car making its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The revised model sports a new front end with horizontal lines that bring it in line with the latest Volkswagen “design DNA,” making it look sharper and sleeker than the current model.
Due to sustained high demand for the previous model, resulting in it selling out, advance sales of the new Tiguan have already begun in Germany. The Tiguan has an average market share of 21 per cent of the compact SUV segment in Germany and 12 per cent across Europe. Globally, a total of 572,000 Tiguans have been delivered since it was launched in the fall of 2007.
