Anchorman isn’t just doing the evening newscast as Dodge gets breaking news coverage with new ads
Dodge has had a good run with ads lately and the latest series of spots for the Durango is no exception.
Ron Burgundy, the egotistical protagonist from Anchorman (and the soon to be released Anchorman 2), is now selling the Dodge SUV through a series of four spots. And the most talked about feature? The glovebox and its ability to hold 70 packs of gum.
If these new ads work 60% of the time all the time, Dodge will have a lineup at the showroom. And chances are this product will actually smell like gasoline.
