Vehicle recalls announced
Washington, D.C. – The U.S. National Highway Traffic Administration announced its monthly list of vehicle recalls yesterday. Among them is the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix which is being recalled to check the right rear brake hose for leaks. 58,528 Grand Prixs in the U.S. and Canada are affected. GM is also recalling 41,477 Chevy Astro and GMC Safari vans, model year 2003, to check the lower ball joint rubber boot which may have been damaged by the steering knuckle.
Chrysler is recalling 20,978 300M and Concordes, model year 2004, to check for a hood latch that may have cracked. Kia is recalling 57,340 Rio cars, model year 2001, to check for a fuel leak at the fuel distributor.
