Vancouver, British Columbia – Modo, Metro Vancouver’s only not-for-profit carshare, has welcomed its 10,000th shareholding member. The cooperative is about to enter its 15th year of operations.
The cooperative said that the milestone member joined because of Modo’s convenient locations and variety of vehicles, along with access to vehicles that could accommodate a child seat.
People can join Modo either as shareholding co-op members or as casual members; about 125 new members join each month. The co-op has a fleet of about 250 cars in North Vancouver, UBC, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. For more information, visit Modo.
