Turbocharged Acura RDX makes Canadian debut at Grand Prix du Canada

Montreal, Quebec – The all-new 2007 Acura RDX made its Canadian debut at the Grand Prix du Canada, at a special “Honda World” display. Eight RDX vehicles also participated in the parade lap immediately preceding the start of the Formula 1 race.
The RDX features Acura’s first-ever turbocharged engine, with the company’s new Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), and is built on a new global light truck platform. It features an all-new 240-hp, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, five-speed automatic transmission with paddle-operated sport mode, 18-inch wheels, fully independent suspension, vehicle stability assist and standard premium sound system. The RDX is expected to return an estimate 12.4 L/100 km in the city and 9.8 L/100 km on the highway, while meeting Tier-2 Bin-5 emissions standards.
