Transport Canada announces newest recalls

2005 Chrysler Pacifica
Vehicles affected: 1,400

Certain vehicles equipped with halogen headlamps may experience an intermittent and eventual total loss of headlamp function due to an incorrect terminal in the headlamp wiring harness. Dealers will inspect the harness and replace if necessary.

2001-2002 Chevrolet Astro, Astro/Safari
2001-2002 GMC Astro/Safari, Safari
Vehicles affected: 10,526

On certain vehicles, the multifunction switch may develop an open circuit, resulting in brake lights and hazard lights becoming inoperative. The third brake light and turn signals are not affected. Dealers will replace the hazard-warning flasher switch. If the hazard slider button will not move, dealers will replace the entire multifunction switch.

2003-2004 Audi A4 cabriolet
2003-2004 Audi S4 cabriolet
Vehicles affected: 601

On certain vehicles, the coating on the Xenon headlamp reflectors may degrade. Dealers will replace the reflectors.

2000-2001 Kia Sportage
Vehicles affected: 8,749

Certain vehicles may develop fuel leaks at the fuel pump outlet spigot. Dealers will replace the spigot with an improved version.
