Toyota Truck 4×4 test track to debut in Alberta car shows

Toronto, Ontario – Toyota has announced that, for the first time, visitors to the Edmonton Motor Show and the Calgary International Auto and Truck Show will have an opportunity to drive pickups and SUVs on the Toyota Truck “Never Quit” 4×4 Test Track.

“It’s one thing to admire the design and style that Toyota has invested in creating an emotionally-charged line of trucks,” says Tony Wearing, Managing Director for Toyota in Canada. “But at the end of the day, performance is what truck ownership is all about. We’re pleased to provide Edmonton’s drivers with this opportunity to put our ‘Never Quit’ trucks to the test, by driving them hard through typical off-road environments.”

Show attendees will be able to drive the all-new 2007 Tundra full-size pickup, 2007 Tacoma compact pickup and 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. The first 250 visitors to test-drive at the Edmonton show and the first 200 at the Calgary show will receive a free pair of Carhartt work gloves.

The Edmonton Motor Show runs March 1 to 4 at the Edmonton Northlands Agricom, while the Calgary International Auto and Truck Show runs March 14 to 18 at the Roundup Centre in Stampede Park. Visitors can sign up for the test track at the Toyota booth.
