Toyota to show Fine-T fuel-cell hybrid concept in New York

The Fine-T is powered by a downsized, high-performance Toyota fuel-cell stack with a new alloy catalyst, which reduces the amount of precious metals used. The hybrid components are mounted under the floor for greater cabin space and a lower centre of gravity. The concept uses independent four-wheel large-angle steering and independent four-wheel drive, with in-wheel motors with integrated drive power and wheel turning-angle control. The vehicle can be turned around from front to rear and allows for U-turns when coming out of parallel parking.
