Toyota promotes benefits of its hybrids

Toronto, Ontario – Toyota has launched a national television and print advertising campaign in Canada, part of a global marketing campaign to inform drivers about the benefits of hybrid technology.

Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD), Toyota’s current-generation hybrid system, is the result of over forty years of research and countless kilometres of real-world testing. The company currently uses it in its Toyota Prius sedan, Highlander Hybrid and Lexus RX 400h SUVs, and next year will use it in the Lexus GS 450h and Toyota Camry hybrid sedans.
