Erlanger, Kentucky – Toyota is increasing local leadership at its North American manufacturing plants, providing more regional autonomy to the operations.

“These changes allow us to move faster and more efficiently in key decision-making,” said Tetsuo Agata, president of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America. “This is a natural progression for a global company, and I am pleased we are designating more responsibility to a seasoned group of Toyota veterans.”

The new appointments include Toyota’s operations in Ontario, and in Indiana and Texas, local leadership is replacing Japanese presidents.
