Toronto, Ontario – Toyota has announced the new 2010 Camry XLE trim line, featuring the standard equipment found in a V6 but with a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission.

“Four-cylinder models are the most popular Camry option in Canada, combining ample performance with the fuel friendliness that Canadian drivers demand,” said Warren Orton, director at Toyota Canada. “We upgraded the engine and transmission in our four-cylinder Camry models for the 2010 model year to deliver more horsepower and even more impressive fuel efficiency. This new 2010 Camry XLE edition also features a revised front grille, bumper, new wheel design, front headlamps and the safety of LED taillamps and standard vehicle stability control and traction control.”

Equipment added for 2010 includes a JBL audio system with USB input and satellite-ready antenna, Bluetooth capability, power-adjustable leather seats, telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, improved instrument panel backlighting, automatic up/down function all windows, and an available backup camera.

Four-cylinder Camry models start at $24,900 for the LE, with the SE priced at $26,205, and the XLE starting at $30,925. V6 models range from $28,345 to $36,040.
