Chicago, Illinois – The 2011 Toyota Matrix has made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The new model features new wheels, interior design features, and standard Smart Stop Technology.
The Toyota Star Safety System is standard equipment, including vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, along with the standard Smart Stop Technology brake override system.
The model is available as the base Matrix or sporty S grade, with choice of 1.8-litre or 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, five-speed manual transmission, and four- or five-speed automatic. All-wheel drive with active torque control is available in the Matrix S with 2.4-litre engine.
The Matrix is built at Toyota’s facility in Cambridge, Ontario.
