Toyota Canada to donate Lexus to winning school at Career Day in Toronto

Toronto, Ontario – The school with the highest student attendance at Career Day in Toronto will receive a Lexus for its school auto lab, donated by Toyota Canada. The event is being promoted by Automechanika Canada and CarFixWORLD at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario on Friday, September 28, 2007.

The Lexus is intended to encourage student participation at the event, where students can see demonstrations and exhibits, attend presentations on career choices, enter skills competitions, and attend Employer Alley, where employers interview students for possible automotive careers.

Students and teachers receive free admittance to Career Day; close to 3,000 young people attended in 2006. Schools can register their attendance by contacting Monica at 1-866-309-4272 or emailing info@ciia.com.

Students who wish to forward their resumes in advance to companies at Employer Alley should visit AutoMechanikaCanada.com and follow the link for Career Day.
