Toyota Canada and Canadian Tourism Commission launch “Get Going Canada”

Toronto, Ontario – Toyota Canada and the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) have launched the third year of their “Get Going Canada” campaign, to encourage Canadians to drive in Canada on their Summer vacations. This year’s campaign offers new destination drives, monthly and weekly prize winners, and a grand prize of a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Launched by Toyota and CTC in 2004, Get Going Canada combines the efforts of federal and provincial tourism organizations, plus leading Canadian companies, to encourage Canadians to “drive the world’s greatest country”. Partners include RBC Royal Bank, Esso, National Car Rental, The Hilton Family, Delta Hotels, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Bell Globemedia. In addition, 1,400,000 copies of the “Best Drives” guide will be distributed through over 1,700 locations across Canada, including Toyota dealerships; the guides provide route maps, sightseeing information, travel planning tips and coupons.
