Toronto, Ontario – Toyota has ranked ninth among 100 corporations based on reputation, the only automaker to make it into the top ten, in a survey of Canadians by marketing company Leger.

Toyota was ranked in the fifth annual Corporate Reputation Study conducted by Leger Marketing. It will be published in Marketing magazine.

“A strong corporate reputation is proof that Canadians see their own vlaues reflected in the Toyota brand,” said Stephen Beatty, managing director of Toyota Canada. “As a respected brand, Toyota has a rich history of quality products and services, respect for people and the environment, continuous improvement and giving in the communities where we live, work and play, all in an effort to make things better.”
