Mississauga, Ontario – Toyota is adjusting its overtime production hours at plants in Japan, North America and other regions due to its parts supply affected by flooding in Thailand.

In North America, four vehicle plants including Ontario will suspend overtime next week and have cancelled Saturday production for October 29.

In Thailand, Toyota’s sales and production company has extended the production halt at its Samrong, Gateway and Ban Pho plants through November 5. The floods have had no physical impact on the plants.

In Japan, Toyota has adjusted production hours at its vehicle plants through October 29, and plants in South Africa, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam will also adjust production for the week starting October 31.
