Toronto, Ontario – Centennial College will host its sixth annual “Show and Shine” cruise day on Sunday, June 6 at its Ashtonbee Campus, Canada’s largest automotive-skills training centre.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the campus. Members of the public, along with Centennial graduates and employees, will be showing off their vintage, custom and tuner cars, trucks and motorcycles. Local new car dealers will also display performance and hybrid vehicles.
New this year is an expert panel, featuring Mohamed Bouchama of CP24’s AutoShop and Alan Gelman of Newstalk 1010’s Car Talk, who will answer questions about car shopping and repairs; a woman’s car-care clinic will also be held on site.
A barbecue, DJ and live band, gift bags, show prizes and plaques will be part of the show, and proceeds from a 50/50 draw will go to the Lesley Russell Scholarship to aid college students dealing with serious illness.
The show is free to the public, while vehicle exhibitors are asked to pay $10, which includes free T-shirts to the first 100 entrants.
The campus is located at 75 Ashtonbee Road, one block north of Eglinton Avenue East and Warden Avenue. To exhibit a vehicle, contact John Mifsud at 416-289-5000 x7332, or email email@example.com.
