Toronto, Ontario – The Unionville GO Station, a commuter train stop north of Toronto, has announced that it has opened 300 new parking spaces on the property. The station is part of the transit network that runs into downtown Toronto.
Construction was recently completed on a new parking lot that is now officially opened. With 25 per cent more spaces, Unionville now has parking for up to 1,500 vehicles. The new spaces are located east of the station’s existing parking lot, on the other side of YMCA Blvd., and can be accessed from Kennedy Road.
The new lot marks the first phase of more parking at Unionville. A second phase, adding another 300 spaces, will open in the fall of 2009.
