Toronto, Ontario – Collector Car Productions has announced two major auctions in the Toronto area featuring rare collectible automobiles, as well as memorabilia and parts.
The company is owned by Dan Spendick, whose former business partner RM Auctions has streamlined its efforts to focus on the European luxury market. Spendick’s new venture will continue to service the Canadian and U.S. collector car markets with its annual spring and fall Toronto events at Mississauga’s International Centre, as well as other private consignment sales in Canada.
On October 16 and 17, the company will present the private collection of car collector Al Webster in Bradford-West Gwillimbury, Ontario. The collection, featuring approximately 40 vehicles and several lots of original parts and memorabilia, will be offered at no reserve at The Page Farm, at 3345 Tenth Line, 30 minutes north of Toronto off Highway 400.
Significant cars in the collection include a 1946 Pontiac Deluxe Woodie Wagon, the 1958 Fiat Topolino-bodied stock car campaigned by Ted Hogan, and a 1932 Mathis Boat-Tail Speedster, one of only five produced by GM founder Billy Durant with the Mathis Company of France.
The annual fall Classic Car Auction of Toronto will be held October 23 and 25, featuring such cars as a Canadian-built 1953 Mercury Monarch convertible, 1967 Jaguar XKE Roadster, and 1941 Packard 110 convertible.
