Oakville, Ontario – A 1980 Ford Econoline van used by Terry Fox for his 1980 Marathon of Hope, now restored with the assistance of Ford of Canada, is currently in Ontario on its cross-country “Tour of Hope.”
The van left St. John’s, Newfoundland on May 25th, following its unveiling on May 22 at Ford of Canada’s corporate headquarters in Oakville, Ontario. The van will be in Dieppe Park in Windsor, Ontario today at noon, and at the Sarnia Lambton Mall at 5 p.m. From there, it will travel through Ontario to Manitoba, en route to Victoria, British Columbia.
