Toronto, Ontario – Saab and Volvo have joined the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers of Canada (AIAMC), bringing the number of member companies to sixteen.

Having been sold to Spyker Cars by General Motors, Saab’s vehicle distribution and sales will resume in December after a 16-month absence. The new distributor for Saab vehicles in Canada is IFS Vehicle Distributors, a new member of the AIAMC.

Volvo also recently joined the AIAMC after it was purchased by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group from Ford.

Members of the AIAMC are the Canadian branches of BMW, Honda, Hyundai, IFS Vehicle Distributors, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
