Suzuki says it will have “major presence” at the Tokyo Motor Show
Hamamatsu, Japan – Suzuki says it will have a major presence at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show, which will be held in late October at the Nippon Convention Center in Chiba Prefecture.
Concept vehicles will include the Concept Kizashi 2, a crossover sports wagon with 3.6-litre V6 engine; the PIXY one-person low-speed transport device, which becomes an automobile with the addition of its SSC mini-car partner that attaches to it; the X-Head cross-utility vehicle with off-road capabilities borrowed from the Grand Vitara; and the Palette mini-car, with powered sliding doors and flat floor.
Suzuki will also display the Splash, a world-market compact car to be launched in Europe in 2008; the SX4 WRC that will compete in the Rallye de France and then in the World Rally Championship season; and the MIO fuel-cell-powered electric wheelchair that Suzuki first unveiled at the 2006 International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition.
