Mississauga, Ontario – Subaru Canada is the presenting sponsor of a major exhibition exploring Japanese technology and design at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec.

The exhibition, JAPAN: Tradition. Innovation. will run from May 20 to October 10, 2011 and is the product of a collaboration between the Canadian museum and the National Museum of Japanese History in Sakura, Japan. The event will include a Subaru 360, which established Subaru as a builder of small, affordable and technologically advanced cars.

“Japanese-designed products are certainly a part of Canadian life and in many cases, they have been an engine for innovation in Canada and around the world,” said Dr. Victor Rabinovitch, president and CEO of the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation. “Subaru is a company known here and internationally for its innovation and design, and we are pleased to have Subaru as the presenting sponsor of our new exhibition.”
