Zeewolde, The Netherlands – Spyker has confirmed that it is in ongoing discussions for the sale and subsequent lease back of Saab Automobile’s real estate property.

In a statement, the company said, “The outcome of the discussions is still uncertain and subject to the approval of the Swedish National Debt Office. It is expected that further announcements will be made shortly.”

In March, Saab experienced a short production shutdown caused when certain suppliers halted shipments to the automaker pending discussions on payment and supply terms.
