Smart USA launches cross-country tour
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan – Smart USA has announced the launch of a national road show, starting in Los Angeles, which will introduce American drivers to the Smart Fortwo. The Smart, introduced in Canada in 2004, will be sold for the first time in the U.S. later this year through an official distributor.
The tour provides a hands-on experience, with consumers able to test-drive the vehicle. The 50-city event will stop at festivals, universities, sporting events, retail outlets and other popular city destinations through November.
Three road-show teams will visit three regions of the country simultaneously, showcasing four vehicles for driving at each stop. The tour’s schedule and updates can be found at www.smartusa.com.
