Six Canadian vehicles ranked in top three of their segments in Initial Quality Survey

Toronto, Ontario – According to J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Initial Quality Study released Wednesday, six Canadian-produced vehicle ranked in the top three in their respective vehicle segments:

  • Toyota Corolla (Cambridge, Ontario plant) ranked highest in the compact car segment

  • Honda Civic (Alliston, Ontario plant) ranked third in the compact car segment
  • Chevrolet Monte Carlo (Oshawa #1 plant) ranked third among mid-size sporty cars
  • Pontiac Grand Prix (Oshawa #2 plant) ranked highest in the large car segment
  • Honda Ridgeline (Alliston, Ontario plant) ranked second in the mid size pickup segment
  • Lexus RX330/RX400h ranked third among mid-size premium multi-activity vehicles
