SIU seeks witnesses to Ontario vehicular death

Toronto, Ontario – The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is asking for witnesses to an incident in Long Sault, Ontario to come forward. A 29-year-old man was killed on a motorcycle in the early hours of July 19.

The SIU was notified that shortly after 3:30 a.m. on July 19, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a noise complaint at a residence in Long Sault. While there, the officers noted a man who got on a motorcycle and rode north towards Moulinette Road. Approximately one kilometre north of Highway 401, the officers found the motorcycle overturned off the roadway. The rider, 29-year-old Jason Lacombe, was taken to hospital but pronounced dead.
