Toronto, Ontario – Drivers and pilots are encouraged to join the second annual Rally For The Cure, a charity fundraising event featuring an aircraft and car rally with a Treasure Hunt theme that will be held August 28, 2011 in the Toronto area.
The car rally will start at the Bayview Secondary School in Richmond Hill, while the air rally will include airports in Oshawa, Edenvale, Burlington, City Centre and Buttonville.
The rally is followed by a fun afternoon, including a barbecue and silent auction, at Buttonville Airport.
All proceeds go directly to the Ewing’s Cancer Foundation of Canada, which is dedicated to raising funds for research into Ewing’s Sarcoma, a highly aggressive cancer with a low survival rate which strikes children, adolescents and young adults.
Teams of two can join for $100, which includes a $50 tax receipt; tickets for the barbecue event are $25 and can be purchased online or at the gate. For more information, or to sign up for the rally, visit Rally For The Cure.
