Scotiabank offers chance to win Smart car when customers go paperless
Toronto, Ontario – Scotiabank has kicked off Canadian Environment Week with the launch of its “Get More Online” contest, which encourages customers to conserve paper by using paperless banking services. Customers who do are eligible to win a Smart Fortwo coupe.
The bank estimates that enough customers have already gone with the paperless banking to save the equivalent of a stack of paper the height of a 50-storey building. The company chose to tie in with Smart because of the automaker’s environmental policies at its plant, including a biological sewage treatment plant and heat recycling system, and the vehicle’s low fuel efficiency figures.
