Regina, Saskatchewan – Saskatchewan led the country in recreational vehicle (RV) purchases in 2010 on a per capita basis, with its residents almost three times more likely to purchase an RV that year than Canadians in any other provinces.

“This highlights the degree to which Saskatchewan has become a leading destination for RVers of all ages,” said Alana Fontaine, spokesperson for Go RVing Canada. “More and more Canadians all over the country are discovering the fun and flexible travel options that RVing provides, and the best part is it is extremely affordable.”

Sales of RVs jumped 19.3 per cent in March 2011 over the same period in 2010.
