Rolls-Royce to build new smaller model

Goodwood, England – Rolls-Royce has confirmed that the company has begun work on a new model series, which will be launched within the next four years. The new car will be smaller than the Phantom, and cost between 200,000 and 300,000 Euros.

Ian Robertson, Chairman and Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, confirmed that planning permission has been granted to expand business operations at the company’s manufacturing plant in Goodwood. The company expects to sell about 800 cars by the end of 2006, which will be its fourth consecutive year of growth. Rolls-Royce will also unveil a new convertible version of the Phantom in 2007.
