Robb Report selects Maybach 62 as “consumate automotive gift”
Malibu, California – The editors of luxury lifestyle magazine, Robb Report, have selected the opulently appointed Maybach 62 as the consummate automotive gift for the upcoming holiday season.
Accordingly, Daimler-Chrysler’s new “super luxury sedan,” which is priced at approximately US$350,000, will adorn the cover of Robb Report’s 19th annual “Ultimate Gift Guide,” scheduled to go on sale on November 21.
Named for its length of 6.2 meters, the Maybach 62 is powered by a 5.5-liter, 550-hp, V-12 engine which generates a zero-to-62 mph speed of 5.4 seconds. This exceptional performance is matched by distinctive styling that melds historic lines with contemporary elegance. Boasting interior roominess rivaling that of first-class air travel, the Maybach 62 is equipped with an unparalleled list of appointments.
“Given the significance of Maybach’s return and the impact that it is making in the luxury automotive industry, it is ideally suited as our ultimate holiday gift,” explained Brett Anderson, Robb Report’s Senior Vice President, Editorial.
