Longueuil, Quebec – Roadwork on Montreal’s Highway 15 will be completed this weekend, with lane closures at the Nuns’ Island Bridge on October 29 and 30, 2011.

Major weekend roadwork is now over for the Champlain Bridge and Bonaventure Expressway. Night closures will continue until the winter but the major daytime work has been completed on those two structures, and the roadwork on Highway 15 should be completed this weekend.

Starting Friday, October 28 at 10 p.m. until Sunday, October 30 at noon, a single lane will be open towards Montreal on Highway 15 at the Nuns’ Island Bridge, while all the lanes will be opened towards the South Shore. Access to Montreal will be easier using the Bonaventure Expressway, since it enables motorists to avoid the Highway 15 work site during this period.
