Renault Nissan Alliance to build new industrial complex in Morocco

Tangier, Morocco – The Renault Nissan Alliance has announced it will build a new industrial complex in the Tangier region of North Morocco, capable of producing 400,000 vehicles per year. A memorandum of understanding was signed September 1 by Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO of Renault and Nissan, and Driss Jettou, Prime Minister of Morocco; the Kingdom of Morocco and the Alliance are expected to sign a general agreement by the end of 2007.
