Record-setting Aston Martin V8 Vantage to be auctioned for charity

Gaydon, England – A V8 Vantage that became the first car to cross the Asian Highway earlier this year will be sold at auction for charity at the Bonhams Important Collectors’ Motor cars, Pioneer and Vintage Motorcycles auction on December 3 in London.

Following 100,000 miles (160,934 km) of durability testing, the car was driven by Richard Meredith and Phil Colley from Tokyo to London, a distance of 10,000 miles (16,093 km), crossing 18 countries in 49 days.
