Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Cadillac, Chevrolet, Nissan and Infiniti vehicles.

2010-2011 Cadillac SRX
Vehicles affected: 849
On certain vehicles, the transmission shift cable may have been improperly installed during vehicle assembly. If the cable separates from the transmission, the driver would be unable to shift in or out of gear. As such, the shift lever could be moved into the Park position but the transmission would still be in the last gear used before detachment. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, correct the transmission shift cable installation.

2011-2012 Nissan Xterra
2011 Nissan Pathfinder
2012 Nissan NV
2011 Nissan Frontier
2012 Infiniti M56
2011 Infiniti FX50
Vehicles affected: 528
On certain vehicles, the engine oil cooler stud, onto which the oil filer is mounted, could fail. This could cause an engine oil leak. Dealers will replace the cooler connector stud.

2012 Chevrolet Sonic
Vehicles affected: 1,215
Certain vehicles may have been assembled without the front brake inner and/or outer pads. Dealers will inspect the front brakes and, as necessary, install brake pads and replace the calipers and rotors.
