Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada has released its latest recall, which may affect some Jaguar vehicles.

2010 Jaguar XF
2010 Jaguar XK
Vehicles affected: 412

On certain vehicles, the power-assisted steering (PAS) pipes may have been manufactured using a zinc-nickel plating that does not meet the corrosion protection requirements of Jaguar specifications.

Over time, the PAS pipes may corrode, which could allow power steering fluid leakage. This in turn could cause a loss of power steering assist, and fluid could contact a hot engine or exhaust component which could result in a fire. Dealers will replace the PAS pipes.
