Normal, Illinois – The rarest and fastest Corvettes in the world will be on hand for the 2009 Bloomington Gold Corvette Show, which will be held June 25 to 28 at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois.
Known as the Special Collection XXV: The Grand Finale, the lineup features 60 of the most historically significant Corvettes organized by Bloomington Gold.
Scheduled vehicles include the hand-built 1953 Corvette EX122 concept car, the original 1960 Stingray Ray, the Chevrolet Experimental Racing Vehicle hand-built by Zora Duntov, the 1969 Grand Sport 001 Penske racer, and a 1969 ZL1 Corvette that is the only documented one to exist.
