Thornhill, Ontario – The G8 and G20 Summits in Ontario will make commuting a nightmare for motorists, warns CAA South Central Ontario. Drivers should be prepared and patient to survive the traffic chaos if they have to drive.

Motorists should expect significant delays on the 401, 427, QEW, Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway as world leaders are escorted by police into and out of the Greater Toronto Area from June 24 to 27.

In Huntsville, access to Highway 60 will be restricted to those with proper credentials until June 26.

Drivers should stay away from the G20 Summit Traffic Zone bordered by Spadina Avenue, King Street West, Yonge Street and Lakeshore Blvd. West.
