Miami, Florida – Porsche will display the all-new 2008 911 Turbo Cabriolet at the 37th annual Miami Auto Show on November 9, marking the first time the company has exhibited the high-performance convertible at a North American auto show.
Southern Florida represents one of Porsche’s best markets worldwide for its convertible models, and ranks second overall for sales of all Porsche models in the U.S. The company sells more vehicles in the United States than in any other country.
The 2+2 911 Turbo Convertible can reach speeds of nearly 321 km/h and accelerate from zero to 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The three-layer soft top can be opened and closed at speeds of up to about 48 km/h in 20 seconds. Pricing starts at $189,600 in Canada.
