Atlanta, Georgia – Porsche has released photos of its top-of-the-line 2008 911 Turbo Cabriolet, which will be available in September 2007. The new 2+2 model will reach speeds of nearly 321 km/h and accelerate from zero to 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds.

With an advertised U.S. price of $136,500, the all-wheel drive 911 Turbo Cabriolet will use the same 3.6-litre six-cylinder twin-turbocharged boxer engine as the 911 Turbo Coupe, delivering 480 hp.

The 911 Turbo Cabriolet uses a three-layer soft top that can be opened or closed at speeds of up to about 48 km/h in 20 seconds. Features include hand-stitched leather interior, high-performance Bose Surround Sound System stereo, bi-Xenon headlights, 19-inch wheels, six airbags, full rollover protection and Porsche Communication Management with navigation system and timing features.
