Porsche boosts horsepower in 2005 911 Carrera S

Atlanta, Georgia – Porsche announced 2005 pricing and performance upgrades to its
911 Carrera and Carrera S models. The 2005 911 Carrera’s 3.6-litre six cylinder
boxer engine produces 325 horsepower while the 911 Carrera S’s newly developed
3.8-litre power plant delivers 355 horsepower. Both cars also have freshened
styling, a new six-speed gearbox and a reworked chassis, which includes active
suspension as standard on the S model.

The 2005 911 models will go on sale in the second half of 2004. The manufacturer’s
suggested retail price for the 911 Carrera is $101,400, and the 911 Carrera S is
$115,650.
