PartSource to expand to Windsor and Barrie, Ontario
Toronto, Ontario – PartSource, a national chain of automotive parts stores, has announced plans to open three new stores in Southern Ontario this summer. PartSource is a chain serving do-it-yourself automotive enthusiasts and the wholesale automotive market (professional installers).
PartSource will open two 7,200 square foot stores in the city of Windsor – one will be located on Tecumseh Road, west of Jefferson Boulevard, the other at Howard Avenue, south of Tecumseh Road. PartSource also plans to open one store in Barrie at Dunlop & Anne Streets.
The stores represent and investment of approximately $2 million per store and are the first to be built in their respective cities. Each new store will create about 15 new retail jobs.
Each store carries a broad inventory of automotive parts and accessories tailored to reflect the area’s vehicle population. Brand names include Bosch, Fram, Monroe, Wagner, Quaker State, NGK, TRW and Borg Warner & Maremont products. In addition to automotive parts, the new stores will carry a variety of name brand convenience and accessory items, including seven national brands of motor oil, five brands of spark plugs and three brands of oil filters.
Staff can also access an additional 60,000 parts on a same day or overnight basis from any one of several distribution centres on-line from coast-to-coast. PartSource has a delivery capability that allows it to deliver products to professional installers when they are needed, often within 30 minutes.
